• Seaholm Redevelopment

Imagine a place to live, work, play, shop, eat and sleep. Then imagine that special place on the shore of Town Lake, connected with a major intermodal transportation network and designed around a historic art-deco structure. This vision will become a reality with the transformation of the former Seaholm Power Plant site.

  • Dell Fine Arts Center

My first project after graduate school and at STG Design in Austin. I had the honor of assisting the project Architect, in taking this project from the very beginning in Schematic Design, all the way through Construction Administration. Along side a great team of mentors and peers, this project was essential to my development and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

During a studio meeting one morning, our principle mentioned that we needed a rendering for the paper in 2 hours. Thanks to the quick and impressive sketch up skills I have learned here at STG Design, I was able to deliver this image from scratch within an hour.

I strongly believe in a well-balanced life, that’s why I love living in Austin, Texas. The people here work to live, and because of that everyone seems genuinely happy, positive, and friendly. My husband and I moved here right after graduation, since then we have loved getting involved in the community and meeting new people. From Stand Up Paddle Boarding on Town Lake to a great show on Auditorium Shores or a world-class festival, there is always something fun going on in this great city.

I am very passionate about great design, in all forms, and truly love what I do. Architects have to be passionate about learning and adaptable to new technologies, while also learning from those before us. This constant growth is something that draws me to the profession. I look forward to watching this city become a shining example of smart growth and environmental responsibility, and hope to play a vital role in setting the standard.
